Beach Adventures | Memorial Day Road Trip Pt. III

We sat in traffic for a good 30-45 minutes just to see the ocean. It was a fail on my part for taking us to the touristy end of the beach. We found a Dairy Queen that allowed you to park for 15 minutes while you ate there. Luckily, they had an outside service window. So we parked, quickly bought an ice cream cone, and ran down to the beach. The sun was just starting to set and all the sun-burnt families were starting to pack up to leave. We were only there for 10 minutes but we felt accomplished for fighting the traffic and finally finding a vacant parking space. After we snagged a few shots, we hustled back to the car to avoid getting ticketed and head back to Norfolk. After we met back up with our friend Lauren, we ended the day like champs where all great adventures conclude: Taco Bell.
